below you will meet our team, Jeff, andy and austin who share a massive passion for motorsports. coming from all walks of life, motorsports have brought us together. turning passion in to profession one wrench at a time.

jeff spooner
jeff started turning wrenches with his father at the age of ten, building his first engine at 13. Jeff drove 67 camaros through his early days, he found himself in a 1991 bmw m5, where he found his love for german engineering. racing through the circle track and spending time in the crew on the GTP circuit in the nineties, jeff has built cars and driven for several different classes of racing. he brings a lot to the table, contributing his master knowledge and 20+ years of bmw experience.
andrew fajardo
andy has been passionate about motor sports since he was a child. after somewhat growing up and pursuing a first career as an attorney, he later decided to return to his passion. Andy keeps the wheels turning, managing front-of-house at BavSpec and occasionally drives the team car, if allowed out of the office.
austin mcclellan
coming from a small town here in south carolina, austin fell into cars pretty early on. trading up and through many different chassis, he found his love for the 90’s bmw staple, the e36. sparking his motivation to join the industry in 2020, austin has been a technician with us ever since. constantly working towards, well, more bmw’s.
nathin bahas
nate’s passion for cars was inherited, coming from a family of mechanics and technicians, his following in their footsteps was inevitable. rising the ranks of commercial auto shops, nate certainly experienced both the good and the bad days, however, his devotion to the industry holds. nate has recently joined the team to further his experience in mechanics and fabrication.

kam beaman
kam is our in-house marketing director, and e36 problem haver. during the day she spends her time working with various bands, artists and music festivals, clicking buttons and making lights pretty. here at bavspec, she pushes our buttons and makes this website pretty. Kam makes sure we look good and feel good so we can bring you the best!
